The "Young Professional" Award is back in 2020!
The security professions are fascinating. While the human factor remains essential, today’s security industry increasingly relies on state of the art technology and applied science. Therefore, it offers diversified and tremendously interesting perpectives to young professionals.
Furthermore, in a globalised world, the role of private security in the public arena grows in importance calling for individuals and companies that have a sense of civil and social responsibility in addition to pure financial interests.
These two reasons, amongst others, are strong grounds for our Chapter’s commitment to promoting the security profession amongst younger generations. In fast evolving economies, this is not only necessary to ensure the security of organisations but also of the society as a whole.
The ASIS Swiss Chapter Young Professional Award
Our Chapter's commitment to promoting the security profession amongst younger generations is represented by our annual young professional competition. It rewards a personal research work (be it self-developed or within an academic programme) presented by a young professional.
The recompense is a cheque of CHF 2000.00, 1 year free membership to ASIS International and to its Swiss Chapter (value around CHF 275 non cash payable). In addition, the winner will be the subject of a publication recognizing its contribution to the security sector.
Now in its third years, we invite any interested parties to submit their projects for evaluation according to the following simple rules.
Should you wish to be a candidate, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Please join a curriculum vitae and a short description of your project.

A Jury of professionals will assess each submissions and shortlist two candidates.
