We are happy to inform you that your chapter organises two events – one in Zürich and one in Geneva with guest speakers Leonie Buthey Mathy (Principal Supply Chain Security at Amazon) andRam Menon (Transportation Security Manager at Amazon) (bios are below). The topic is:

The Challenge of Securing International Supply Chains in today’s complex environment

Supply chains are of strategic importance in the global business environment. Not only manufacturing but the growing distribution business is dependent of reliability of this chain. With the increasing value of goods and services channeled via these routes the supply chains are more and more a target of criminal actions.

Experts will share with us their experiences with managing supply chains in different regions of the globe with a particular focus on the issues with overland transportation in Europe.

We will hear about real cases, how they have been managed and the learnings taken from them. Which role regulations, e.g. TAPA, play and what has to be taken into account in the set-up of a new supply chain?
