In this webinar, on Februar 9th, 2021, Andrea Molle, Assistant Professor in Political Science and Research Associate at Chapman University, California and START InSight contributor and Luca Tenzi ASIS International Chapter 160 member will analyze some of the security apparatus's physical and organizational issues that led, first of all, to underestimate the threat posed by the demonstrators and then to the incorrect response to the assault. The discussion is based on public available post event reconstructions and early analysis carried out after the events.
Andrea Molle, PhD, FRAS, is Assistant Professor in Political Science and Research Associate at the Institute for the Study of Religion, Economics, and Society, his current research agenda focuses on religion and politics in different Social Sciences fields. Specific research interests include international relations, computational social sciences, religious and political violence, and warfare studies. He has published books and several articles in Sociology, Anthropology, and Political Science on these topics.
